I feel like March just flew on by!! Isn't that picture above just the best!? I love choosing one photo for the month that is my absolute favorite! They play this game called "knees" in which Derek sits on Dave's knees and slides down and then they both go "more knees" and laugh hysterically :) Another thing this project has made me realize is that I don't need a TON of photos each month, just a handful of great ones that capture our lives and how much Derek is growing.
Here is a shot of the whole layout. After looking over my photos for the month I decided to go with the theme "play". It seemed that all the pictures I had were of different things that Derek was playing.
Here are some details from the month, sorry it turned out a bit blurry. I FINALLY was able to order my We R Memory Keepers album ( took forever for the color I wanted to be in stock)! I took these photos in the page protectors and I think it blurred the words a bit, I will remove the page next month before photographing.
This page was quick and easy to put together and I love how it turned out. I chose eight pictures, each representing a different activity/ thing Derek likes to play or do and then used some old chipboard letters for the title in the middle. The labels are leftovers from Ali Edwards Week In The Life kit that I cut in half and then wrote what he was playing on there. The other words are REALLY OLD Making Memories word stickers that I still had around, but they never really go out of style. Again a bit blurry from the page protector, but that cute smile more than makes up for it :)
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS MONTH:
Derek really started doing some imaginative play, like pretending to feed his stuffed animals.
He took his first bubble bath and had a ton of fun!
He started singing. Only one song and only at bedtime. Sometimes. But it is SO CUTE!
We started going to Kindermusik class where you get to see the same group of friends each week.
The weather started to warm up and we were able to get outside a bit more!
He is starting to be into at least trying new foods.
