Can I just say that I am loving this project even more after this month! It is turning out to be the perfect way for me to document his growth and tell some fun stories from the month. I usually print the sheet at the beginning of the month and then fill it in as I go so I don't forget the everyday details due to baby brain :) Using post-it notes or a little notebook in your purse would also work well if you didn't have the sheet printed out or wanted to be able to jot things down on-the-go. Then I print the photos after the month is over.
This photo of us that I took on his birthday is one of my new favorites :) Derek turned two this month and on his birthday we took him to the Children's Museum and McDonanld's. He had a party earlier in the month, but I am planning on putting together a separate layout to tell that story.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS MONTH:
Derek turned 2 years old, is 36" tall and weighs 29lbs.
We had a pirate birthday party at my parents house before we left Michigan with his family and friends.
We moved to Fargo, North Dakota!! (look for a layout documenting our journey soon)
He decided he really likes tomato soup.
He learned to count to five all on his own.
He had his two month check-up and was scared and cried the whole time we were at the doctor, but he's healthy :)
He learned how to say instruments.
